Where are all the diamond emulsions for stropping?

What have you been looking for? StroppyStuff seems sold out all over but at Amazon you can get the ENZO stuff in many different grit sizes. I use the 4.0 micron stuff in my shop every day. It's very good especially for the price but I think 4.0 micron is the coarsest they offer. It works great on my felt belts though.

Ted Pella is the supplier I use. Lots of options, compounds, pastes, and liquids for sharpening scientific tools. Sizes range from 45 microns down to 0.1 micron.

This is what I use on the strop to finish my straight razor.

The spray bottles are available on Amazon, very cheap and handy.

Curry Custom Cutlery also has all their normal emulsions in stock in all the normal sizes. It's pretty good as well, a bit cheaper than the better known brands while still being effective especially for use on belts.

Tariffs is my guess. There are no issues getting the diamond powder that I am aware of.

There are correct amounts of powder to use, too much will lower your BESS scores significantly, too little takes more, 1 gram per oz of water is best, if water is the suspension medium.

I have been using Wicked Edge emulsions, 2 micron and 4 micron. I've had a Wicked Edge sharpener a few years but only started stropping a few months ago. Got all kind of good places to look now. Most of these places I have never heard of until I started this thread. Many knife sharpening gadgets I was not aware of. Thanks for the help!

So I can find 4 micron diamond emulsions but not 2 micron. Do I need to substitute a different micron for the 2 micron?

Are you just deburring or are you trying for a polished edge? Either way a 1 micron shoud suffice
