I just saw a Boker Plus was made in China. That suprised me, so before I go buying any Boker's, I would like to know where their product lines are made. I know the Tree Brand is Soligen, but what about everything else?

Germany, China, and Argentina, I believe. The boker plus line is a well made line, Chinese or not.
The boker and tree brand are German, the plus and magnum lines are Chinese, and the arbolito line is Argentina, if memory serves.

I'm guessing that it was my post a few minutes ago in another thread that prompted you to ask this, so I suppose it's also my responsibility to try to provide an answer. ;) I'm probably missing some since Boker has a lot of different lines and I'm not really a big Boker collector, but here goes...

Boker, Boker Tree Brand, Boker Cinch - Germany
Boker Plus, Boker Magnum - China
Boker Arbolito - Argentina

Edit: Looks like ThePharce beat me to it. :p

Some Böker Plus knives are made in Taiwan, too.

I'm pretty impressed with my Solingen one, though...

Get their print catalog, or go online www.bokerusa.com
The print catalog spells out their lines:
Boker manufaktur solingen-- as it says.
Boker arbolito-- Latin American made?? Unclear, catalog says in Lat Am they have a great reputation.
Boker plus-- made in Taiwan and China. Ewwwww!
Magnum by Boker-- ditto
Their Tree Brand is still the McCoy damned good high carbon bladed knives in my opinion.

Boker plus-- made in Taiwan and China. Ewwwww!

But, some excellent quality/price deals in that series. The 2 Exskelibur folders for example (perfect production versions of a well regarded custom design).
