Where are the balisongs?

Was just wondering why the balisongs were discontinued? Didn't they sell? I'd love to have a spydie butterfly. I mean if there's a market for the Karahawk, there will definitely be one for butterflies. Let me know what you guys think.

Even w/o the help of the US government, the knife may not have made it. I like Balis, but not the Spyderco version for a variety of reasons. Wouldn't have bought it even if it was still available.
