I have been looking around for folding kerambits...All that I have been
able to find is the Spyderco and an Emerson.

I tried Kerambit.com but the site appears dead and they did not answer
an email query...

Any suggestions?

I have the S&W, I wanted a Karambit without spending a lot of money ( didn't know if I'd like the style).

If this thing was sold by the ounce it would cost a fortune, very heavy and bulky , but well put together for $20.00 ( that's what I paid). The blade was dull but quickly took an edge. The scales are G10 and the frame is very thick , I would say this is more of a frame lock then a liner lock.

If you don't mind the bulk this would be a good choice for a starter. I like the overall configuration , but I want something more compact so I might go for the Spyderco in the future.

i like this one, its a little pricey but its sweet, altho i prefer the fixed models

I have the S&W too, and in flipping it open, the torx pins all come loose (can you say loctite), the knife IS bulky, but I carried the knife for well over a year and used it every day , my only problem now is keeping it sharp, so I sold the one i sued to some guy and bougth a new one whihc I dont use, its just a paperweight at this point... I'm waiting to score an Emerson

I used to own an S&W kbit, and yeah, that thing was too damn bulky. I just ordered an Emerson Combat Karambit folder though, and I plan on EDCing it. :)

Not sure about the folding kerambits and not trying to highjack the thread here, but the absolute best fixed kerambits I've ever seen are from a custom maker on this forum by the name of "RDT". His website is:

Again, sorry to not address the question, but this guy produces the only kerambits that appeal to me.

i like the karambit style but the spyderco karambit is just odd for me... it was the first spyderco i bought for SD back in the day and whew, the thing was terrible for carry.... not to mention, TERRIBLE for using in public for ANY type of cutting that other people would see... that knife scares me like no other...
