Where are the Umnum detail pics at?

A few people on this board have received their umnums, but why is there no demand for pictures of the lockbar detail/ceramic ball(s) and such? I am dying to see some up-close pictures.

Also, would removing the o-rings from the stud result in the lockbar traveling further over the tang?

There is a website out there that starts with knife and ends with art that has some really good pics. Although, none of the lockbar.

Nice, but still want to see that lock bar detail. My understanding is that there's a detent on the actual mating surface, and the ball/detent connection is... it.

That is really trimming things down to the proverbial c-hair.
 
This may sound funny, or yet, strange, but I received my Umnumzaan a week ago Saturday (yesterday), and since I have no tool for takedown I cannot readily see, macular degeneration in my left eye, the lockbar to accurately describe how the ball bearing is set up, so I would also love to see some pics of the lockbar closeup!!

Great photo McHenry, I assume that is a Proto? My production is a bit different. Looks like the "ball" has been relocated to the underside of the lock bar and scaled down a bit. I'm sure that's already been addressed somewhere.

Yes this was one of the 20 protos. What's interesting (not sure if the prod is the same way) but there are two balls in mine. One is in the lockbar where when you disengage it it rides against the blade when you close the knife. The other one is in the handle directly below the lockbar to support I suppose the lockbar so you can't push it inwards.

It looks like they deleted the second ball on the production versions. Shame, but at least they're not $1000...
