I'm still in the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Tarawa.
The 15th MEU(SOC) (of which I am a part) is on a routine deployment (isn't ever WESTPAC that fits a war into a 6 month deployment
)
We are expected back on time (mid summer).
I made a new purchase too. I ordered a custom "lance hawk" from Justin, who has been sending me photos and updates. Outstanding work, Justin. The "lance hawk" is a beauty and looks a lot like a small halberd, with a double edged knife blade coming out of the top of the tomahawk head. I plan to use it boar hunting this next year (after I am out of the Corps).
