Where are you buying Steel

Where is everyone buying steel? A lot of the regular suppliers seem to be out of 15n20 and 1095. Looking for american steel.

Pops Knife supply has 8670 from the US, they carry it in just about every size you could need in 4 foot lengths. It’s also very well priced just like everything else on their website.

If Pops has what you need they are usually the best prices by far and they don't let you down on service. Their prices on 8670 are incredible. That would be a good substitute for 15n20 for mono blades. If you need it for Damascus JTknives sometimes sells 15n20 recovered from lumber mill bandsaw blades. The NJ steel baron is one of the main sellers as well as AKS.

15n20 is not an American steel, and I dont believe it was or has ever been made in America. Made in Germany and Sweden mostly I believe.
