Where are you guys getting guard steel

Hey there,
I just ran out of a nice sheet of 3/16" 416 ss I had been using for guards...

Where can I find 300-400 series stainless in widths big enough for guards? Most places seem to have 1.5" but I'd like something a bit wider.

I have tried midwest knifemakers, texaknife, and a few other of my normal places.

Any quick links people could shoot me?

I get mine from Alpha Knife supply, I just check there website and they don't have much on there so give them a call Chuck or Jessica should be able to help you if not they can probably tell you where to go to get what you need.

They are great folks to deal with, for instance I placed a order late Friday night and got a email telling me it shipped Saturday and was on my porch when I got home Monday, now that is service.
