I'm looking to get a full tang Scandi knife for around $50 or less. Does anyone have a line on something like that?

I know they exist as I've seen the Mora Laplander blanks for around $40 but jus no complete knives. Please help.

Well it appears that the Mora Laplander 90 is a little more pricey than I had thought. I have been looking at the Enzo Trapper now though. I was just hoping to find something in the $50 range. It really surprises me that there aren't more Scandi grind full tang blades on the market...

IMO full tangs aren't as necessary as people would like to believe. That said, have you tried condor. I'm not sure if they have a true scandi but it's worth looking into.

Looks good but I don't think that's gonna happen for me.

@Shotgun

Thanks for letting me know about Condor Knives, I think that's what I'm looking for.

Here are the ones I'm looking at:

Bushlore Knife with micarta handle-

Woodlaw knife-

Bushcraft basic 4"-

Can't really decide yet. I'm leaning towards micarta handles and I like the handle shape of the Bushlore but the price is a little steep. Knifeworks has some decent deals on them. Hmmm... decisions decisions.

ETA... I can't really tell if the Condor Knives are Scandi grind or not. It almost looks like they have a secondary bevel on them.

I'm hearing that some of the Condor knives have a true Scandi grind and others do not. Also that some have a small micro bevel on the edge. Anyone know which ones have the true 100% Scandi grind? I appreciate the help gents.

The only "true" scandi grind knife I know of off the top of my head from Condor is the Woodlaw.

Most of their other knives have what most call a "scandivex" (scandi + convex). That said, the bushlore was actually a pretty good knife, the scandivex grind didn't seem to hinder it at all when I used one last.

Good luck man :).

Drop 42blades a PM. He sells most of the Condor line and could tell you.

There is no true 100% scandi grind. Some of these knives have no secondary bevel, while many makers do indeed put a secondary bevel on their knives, and have for a long time. I would say get whatever one is comfortable for you.
