Where can i buy Ka-bar gen 2 fighting knife?

Title says it all. It is unavailable on amazon. Do they still make them and if so, anyone know where i can buy one?

Kabar discontinued their "Next Generation" line of knives back in 2012.

I had one but didn't really like it. The thick steel guard and pommel made the knife a lot heavier than I thought it should have been.

The steel took a very sharp edge, but I didn't use it much so I can't really give an opinion about it's performance. It was really just an impulse buy, I didn't have plans to use it. I happened to be in a knife store, saw it, thought I liked it, so I bought it. I used to have the money to buy knives like that. I miss those days .

Yeah, i am mainly buying the knife for looks, but according to Equip2Endure and others, it is not a bad survival knife. I found a version thatd almost the same knife called the Kabar d2 extreme fighting knife. Thanks for the info
