The best way to get Kydex is through a local plastics distributor. Just look under "plastics" in the yellow pages. You will want 0.093" thickness for most projects. There are several types of Kydex, too, so when you call ask for Kydex 100. I got a 4'x8' sheet for about $100 once taxes were added. You can get Concealex from Blade-Tech, but I personally think it's harder to work than Kydex. It seems like the prices are cheaper, though, and you may be able to get smaller quantities, although I'm not positive. Most plastics places won't sell less than an entire sheet.
You can also get it in small quantities from Texas Knifemakers Supply in Houston, Tx. It is about $4.50 a sq. ft. and I used to buy it in 12" X 24" sheets. They also have the 1/8" and 1/4" eyelets. Theirs is .060" thk. Ray Kirk RAKER Knives
