Does anyone know where I could find a new 110MS ? I have been searching long and hard for one, and would appreciate any help you all could give.

Thanks!

I wouldn't mind getting a bead on one myself, but it seems like the remaining MS stocks are almost nil.

Dennis Wright had a few "almost" 110MS, that I believe Buck made from leftover material (no medallion and maybe no checkering on the scale), but otherwise essentially the same knife with BG-42 blade.

And of course there's Pete's Shop, where a close copy would run you about $90.

OTOH, if you're after the 110MS for collector's value, maybe you should post in the "wanted to buy" forum, since the retail channels are drier than your handle

I'm going to call Dennis tomorrw. What I'm interested in is the BG-42. I use all my knives, so collector value is ruined when I get hold of them :-)

I recently got one of the BG-42 version 110's from Dennis.

Good looking knife. Razor sharp. Great price.

Hard to beat for the money imho.

I got one of the MS overruns from Dennis Wright too (thanks Dennis!) and it is indeed nice, and shaving sharp. Sure wish it had checkering though.

What would be a good price for the 110MS, I just bought one for $60 NIB....Good deal or ??? What is the going rate?

I did look if I could find more than one but no luck

Keith, is it the one with the checkered handles and the medalion? If it is, you got a really good deal. I can't believe a dealer would be dumb enough to sell one of those at so close to wholesale. Good for you. They are really scarce and in high demand.

There is no "going rate" since they are no longer made. It's whatever you can get one for, usually over $100.00, if you can find one.

If its one of the overrun models with the smooth handle and no medalion you still got a good deal. I sell them for $69.00 plus shipping and that's a bargain. Either way you did good. Congrats.

Well I got a bettter deal than I thought...I made a mistake the price was not $60...It was $50.00! and yes it is one with the checkering and medalion. Hopefully this will be a trend for me for the new year 2000!

Double your grin Keith. That's below what they were wholesaleing for when they were available.

I hope it was a private party you got that from and not a dealer. I would just hate to be associated in the same group as someone with so few brain cells working.
