Where can I find a history of Ralph Bone?

My friend brought me a Ralph BOne knife made in TX, Lubbock. That knife has a logo on the blade and small "S' on one side and D 176 on other side.
What does it mean? Dose anyone know?

My father had several Bone knives and I myself caught the bug a few years back and have bought some as well, most are small fishing and hunting fixed blade G's and D's.
