Newbie question,sorry. But apart from the "cool" factor, what make the Kevlar special?

Santi,

besides being cool, they are tough as anyone could need, good looking,stay cooler than rubberized ones, won't rot or pick up odd smells, and the ones I've seen and bought had a great texture to them, too, enhancing the fit and look of my cheap-ola watches. I'd bet the buckle on most of 'em will wear out before the strap does . Not cheap, but worth it!
