I have tried to order a Moran Slip Sheath, $30.00, from Edgeworks, but I havent heard anything yet, and this was the 21st of december.

I got a confirmation in my mail, but no sheath has showed up.

Are there any other sheathmakers who ship overseas that can make make me a nice Concealex or KydexIWB sheath for my Spyderco Moran?

Have you tried Mike Sastre? videosas@aol.com I have one of his sheaths for my Moran, and it works great. You might also try ordering one direct from Spyderco.

I believe Blade-Tech is making the current concealex sheath for the Moran, you might want to try calling them.

Did you check out Steve Agocs' (aka Chiro75) site in the links section? He's even got reviews of his sheaths on the site. Might be worth a look.

Rockspyder, any pictures of Mike Sastres sheath?

I found out that Chiro75, doesnt take any new orders for a while.

As for Spydercos own sheath, I didnt quite like the looks, a bit too wide, I think.

Sorry CC, no pictures. I haven't had a chance to scan that one in. I almost brought it in today to do just that, but decided against it at the last minute. All I can say is that it is a really nice sheath, low profile, narrow, and great workmanship.

But, it appears that you have other answers already as well. So... good luck.

I bought one from Bladetech for $25.00. It has the teklok belt clip which I find excellent and the sheath is superb. The knife can be carried vertical, horizontal, at an angle and I can even carry the knife upside down on the belt if needed. Take the clip off (two screws) and you have a slip sheath.

Deon, how did you place your order? At BladeTech's site or? $25 sounds good to me

I was on a short visit to the USA and phoned them while I was there, to place the order. It was shipped to me in the USA while I was still there. I would think if you can't phone them, order by fax or on the net - they were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I did make enquiries by e-mail before I ordered and not all the mail was answered but on the phone it was sorted out in a minute.

I looked around to see if I had any left, but I don't...sorry! I think if I decide to do anything with sheaths I may get a knife, make a few runs of sheaths for it, and sell them. Definitely no more custom work, unless you guys all want to start being my patients in clinic so I can get done with my requirements and then spend extra time on sheaths!
