i have been looking for a knife that i saw in the backpacker magazine 2002 gear guide (p125, if anyone cares...) a small logo says "buck whittaker 751 approach. looks like anodized aluminum or titanium handles, half serrated blade, liner lock, and a large loop in the pommel instead of a thong hole. "it clips easily to a carabiner..." i have looked on buckknives.com, but haven't found it yet...help anyone? availability, price, whatever you can give me will be appreciated.
thanks

This knife is new for this year. It should be available through your local dealers ( ? ) or be able to be ordered if it is available. Check the Buck site for local availability. It is available in black, blue and purple handle material with a serrated blade. Retails for $49.00 A great knife for use in the outdoors or collection. This knife is made in collaboration with Peter Whittaker, renowned mountaineer. :) :)

thanks silverbear_gene, i looked all over the website, but that was about a month ago, so i'll have to go back and check it out.
