Where can I find an eyelet crimp tool?

I purchased Concealex, eyelets and other hardware from Blade-Tech a few months ago. I’ve formed a few sheaths but I am unable to complete them because I can’t find a crimp tool for these eyelets. Can anybody give me an idea where I could find an eyelet crimp tool on the web? I’ve tried all the hardware and fabric stores in my area as well as Blade-Tech with no luck.

Thanks for your help,
Tom

Hi Tom.
I don't know where you're located, but do you have any leather shops around?
That's where I got my eyelet crimper from.I don't know about any web sites that may have them.

I've made a couple Kydex sheaths, and the first one turned out so-so. The second one turned out as I would expect it from a professional, and I decided to use Cihacago screws on all the holes I drilled (a total of four, although one is "screwless" because it serves as a vent). Anyway, the choice was made based on the fact that it makes it easy to change belt loops (converts from a regular sheath to a swinger sheath in seconds), and I think it just plain looks cool, too! ;-) Furthermore, it retains a neat appearance, which eyelets don't always, and the sheath can be opened up for cleaning. IMHO, the only reason to use eyelets would be for greater durability in the drilled holes when being carried as a neck knife.
