Where Can I Get 59.5" Bandsaw Blades

Can anyone suggest a source for 59.5" bandsaw blades (151cm) for cutting nonferrous metals?

I have a Ryobi BS901 benchtop bandsaw that I want to use for cutting brass finger-guards and handle spacers for my knife-making hobby. These are not really thick pieces of brass, in fact the thickest I would ever contemplate is .25". But I haven't seen any metal cutting blades in the stores that fit this saw.

Any help locating a source for 59.5" blades, with metal cutting teeth, would be appreciated. Even if it is for custom-made saw blades.

Thanks

Alot of high end hardware stores, or stores that specialize in tools for contracters, will make you blades whatever length you need. Otherwise I think Texas Knifemakers supply will sell custom sized bandsaw blades

Thanks Kyle and Mike. I'm afraid these suggested locales were a bust.

MSC Industrial did have some saw blades in the 59.5" lengths, but nothing greater than 14 teeth per inch and nothing expressly for cutting metal. Texas knife supply only carried the larger length saw blades >64". Didn't see any saw blades for sale at MetalMart.Com, just metal stock, but I sent them an e-mail.

I am trying to locate a bimetal blade, 18 to 24 tpi.

Please let me know if any other suppliers come to mind.

Thanks,

Ellis Mfg. Company, Inc. PO Box 930219 Verona, Wi 53593-0219 Phone # 1-800-383-5547 will make bandsaw blades wood, bi-metal, etc. to what ever length you want. I just recieved a order from them and they did a good job. I would highly recomend them. Tom Lewis

I was expecting a similar problem here but I just looked up "saw" in the yellow pages had had loads of places to choose from locally. This might work for you in finding someone close...

Another source which I have good luck with is:

http://www.hastingssaws.com/

they use top of the line Lenox blade stock to make any length, width, tooth configuration you need......I suggest using their toll free number for your first order, the guys there will use your input to figure the exact blades you need, after that they can be ordered online....

You guys are great! Thanks again for helping me out. I have added the recent links for saw blade suppliers. I placed an order for a couple saw blades with:

https://www.bimetalblades.net/

Seemed to have good prices, and decent saw blade material; Bahco Blades.
