Where can I get a back spacer for an FRN Stretch?

I messed up the back spacer reassembling my Stretch. I know it isn't covered under warranty, because I messed it up. Is there any place I can get a replacement? My Stretch has the British racing green scales, but I will take any color of spacer to get this knife up and running again.

Your best bet would be to phone Spyderco Warranty & Repair and explain your situation. They don't generally stock parts, other than clips and clip screws, but if they have a QC reject Stretch which they can cobble for parts, they may be able to repair yours. If not, then your only other options would be to either keep an eye on eBay and the exchange section of this forum in the hope someone will offer a beat up one for sale, or find a craftsman willing and able to make you a metal, G-10, or CF replacement.

Would it be possible to put standoffs in? I have never dissembled a mid lock, so I don't know, but that would be an option I would explore.

I severely doubt it. The backspacer on a midlock serves double duty. In addition to simply holding the sides of the handle apart, the lock spring rides in the slot in it. I could be wrong, but I can't see any way to replicate that function with standoffs.
