The one that the indian guy had when he was standing on the log?

What brand was it, and how much would something like that cost?

Or a "close" match of it?

Jack Crain was the maker of the Predator, and Commando movie knives.

I don't have a URL for him, but a search should turn it up. He's in Texas.
Be careful here, there's been some talk of non delivery.

Yeah, that looks like it...i did'nt realize it was a machette though...

Could a much smaller bowie be bought for arround $200 with a slightly angled rubber grip?

I'm new to this whole knife thing, so if anyone could give me a direction, i would appreciate it....

ps I've done a web search for Bowie knife, and not quite found what i was looking for.....

I need a rubber grip, i have a slight arthritis problem that i think would keep me from gripping a wooden handle properly

thanks

What size blade are you looking for, and do you want an uncoated blade? I'm going to assume you want a clip point, try clicking on the store link at the top of the page and look at Cold Steel and SOG for a start.

I met Mr. Crain at a 1992 SoCal knive show and he had "Billy's" blade for sale for about $1500.00 The same one Sonny Landham used in the film.

I asked him why. He said: "It's one of those DIVORCE FORCES IMMEDIATE ASSETS LIQUIDATION things."

I asked: Did the Judge award her any ALLTHEMONEY?

Answer: "He awarded her ALL the ALLTHEMENEY."

He said: "I got the Hole. She got the Donut."

At least he had a sense of humor.

Predator is one of my favorite movies.
Best lines "If it bleeds we can kill it"
"I ain't got time to bleed"

Stoneage..

I looked at that website...they have alot of nice stuff on it.....
And alot closer price wise to what I'm looking for...

I am convinced i need a rubber handle though...
