My sebbie looks like crap right now, and I dont want to spend $25.00 bucks to CRK, just for it to get scratched up again in a week. There has got to be a virtually scratchproof coating out there. Anyone know?, where I could send it to be coated?, and about how much it would cost?, thanks in advance.

I like the random scuffing pattern the handle picks up, comparable to the stonewashed finish on the blade.

Here's what I did one time. Got some of the fine scotch bright polishing cloth. rubbed the handles carefully in a consistent direction and got a very smooth almost sheen like finish. Very easy to renew if gets scratched. Downside is it's a little less grippy.

The KG Gunkote that CRK uses on its' One Piece Range would be just the ticket, but if you do this make sure you mask the inside of the handles. If you don't, and you cote these surfaces as well the added thickness of the paint could ruin the action of your Sebenza.

The scotch brite also works very well on SS scales.
