Where can I get a Factory replacement sheath for my BK16?

Read this carefully: contact KaBar. They will most likely send you one for FREE. Why are you so insistent on finding one to buy when you can probably get one for free or next to nothing? SMH.....

ka bar emailed me back. $28 bucks for a new sheath....wish it was free, seems im never that lucky.

maybe I can find a cheaper aftermarket sheath

Wish I still had all of my Factory Sheaths but I gave all mine away as all of my BK's have Heavy Duty Custom Leather
Sheaths. w/Sharpening Stone sewn on to the front of the Sheath plus my initials stamped on the Sheath just in case someone really likes my Sheath more than I do.!!** Plus the Leatherman in Mo. that makes my Custom Sheaths has his name and all stamped on the back of all my Sheaths real deep just in case all else fails.!!**

Well there you go - 2 guys just said they have one for you.... If you are going to spend $28 on one, I would very highly recommend a nice kydex rig. Look up a guy named Al Welke. I think his website is azwelke.com... Trust me on this - it will be the best money you ever spent on kydex. The guy is a master, and those sheaths make the stock ones look like the trash they are.

Thought I would mention that $28 is not a lot of money for a fair sheath. It sounds like you have found an alternative approach to getting a replacement.
