Where can I get a kydex add-on to my kydex sheath? Something to carry a sharpener in.

I recently received a Fallkniven F1, and I didn't like the stock zytek sheath (it rattles and it seems kinda clunky for such a beautiful and simple knife).

Anyhow, I purchased this but I was hoping to find somewhere to get a kydex holder for my Fallkniven DC4 sharpener:

Any ideas where I could get something I could attach to this sheath that would fit the DC4 sharpener? I would even settle for something really thin and simply use the diamond side detached from the ceramic for field sharpening. That would actually cut down on the weight, too.

Why post this question about a sheath in General Knife Discussion?
We have a Sheaths & Such forum ...

Try the Maxpedition single mag pouch. Velcros right on the front of the sheath. I got a pic somewhere I think.

Thanks for the suggestion. Velcro, huh? They're cheap enough. I'm thinking maybe something that can be attached to the rivets may be sturdier.

Been carrying mine that way for a while now. Never fallen off, and nothing has ever fallen out. Just my two cents though.

It is the Maxpedition Single Sheath, for horizontal and vertical wear. Your sheath looks slightly wider than mine. I have one a BK2 sheath also. A piece of double side Velcro made the straps long enough to wrap around the Becker sheath. I'm thinking a hot nail would make a nice hole in the seams of the pouch and you could put a couple Chicago screws through it to attach it.

Sanding down the edges closer to the rivets may help accommodate the sheath also.

Oh the newer model doesn't have the buckle on the front. I believe Condor makes one with a quick release buckle, same set up.

I really appreciate the heads up on that pouch. I found on in black for only $15 shipped. I am going to cut off the horizontal velcro strap to make it more streamlined and I may just take off the firesteel holder altogether and throw it in the pouch. I am going to take the diamond side off my DC4 sharpener, and tuck it inside the pouch too for quick field sharpening. It would be lighter that way, too. I'll post some pics when I get it all together.

My Maxpedition holder arrived today, and it's excellent. My kydex sheath isn't here yet, but I was able to attach it nicely to the stock Fallkniven zytel sheath. It's very compact, and I took part of the rear horizontal velcro tabs off to lighten it even more. It fits nicely. It also has a stretchy side band that looks to be perfect to attach a firesteel to

I will take some pics soon enough and show you what I mean. Thanks again for the heads up on that. It's pretty much perfect for what I want.
