I have been looking for such a log time because I've always wanted one but can't find it in stock the one time I found it I got a defective one and contacted the seller knife center and they said send it back we will exchange it for a new one and when they got it they said it was out of stock then just refunded me. I know you guys can't post where to get it unless it's a bf dealer but maybe someone can help out cause I want a nib para 2 from a respectable dealer.

I bought my first Para 2 here on the forums, got it brand new, from an individual and it was a great deal, no hassle. I've bought alot of knives from individuals on the forums and I have never had even a slight issue.

I just don't want to get ripped off or end up getting something different then what I paid for.

Just buy from someone with good feedback, ask the proper questions, and get plenty of pictures. I've made over 50+ transactions here and I've never even had an issue getting what I didn't expect.

There are a few brick-and-mortar vendors on eBay that are the legitimate article, if you need some names just let me know. I can personally attest for a true PM2 from at least one (that's where I got mine).

Yea sure. Ebay just scares me because there are a ton of fakes going on out there right now. Its a shame to what the world is coming too.

Yeah totally agreed, I'd personally rather spend the extra $20 or whatever it comes out to to know I'm buying the real deal versus trying to score a deal and end up burned. I'll forum-email you this afternoon with some names.

Alright thanks

You can order it through wally world and pick it up at the store for free shipping.

Defective from a dealer? I am curious to know what defects did you find. I had a few para's come off-center NIB. They do pop up on the exchange frequently, but you have to be quick.

Go to the various online dealers and if they have it sign up for email notifications when back in stock.

Ah good question. Te tolerances were horrible. Up and down blade play no matter what I did, side to side blade play and to get it to go away you had to tighten the pivot to the point of not longer opening it but the up and down did not go away. After looking at it from my limited knowledge and not taking it apart I assumed the lock did not have enough spring tension on it.

I sent you a "Visitor Message" using the forum capabilities, I didn't see the PM function nor the standard "Email User" option, so let me know if you didn't get that and I'll get you the info another way.

I got it thanks.

Really because when I checked online all I saw were regular military's not paras.

Two lightly used Para2 are for sale on another forum, please PM/email me (choombak at gmail dot com) and I'll pass on the details.

Bentoboxshop.com has the digicam and satin blade Para 2 for sale at ~$150 right now. Everything I've read about bentobox makes them out to be legit (they've received 3 shop exclusives from Spyderco). They do tend to run their prices a bit high, so getting the Para 2 at 150 is a good deal from them.

I'd like to find a PM2 but I have no problem waiting a long time to find the right one and not get ripped off. Plenty of knives out there to curb my appetite.

I've had a lot of luck just walking into sporting good stores and finding them. I picked up a digital camo black blade PM2 at Jax sporting goods in Ames Iowa, they have a few stores in Colorado as well. The local Sportsman's Warehouse has had a couple all black PM2s sitting in the display for the last month or so. If you really want one a little foot work maybe in order, or a couple phone calls at least.
