Where can I get a reasonably priced gentleman's knife in NYC?

A friend of mine's birthday is coming up this Friday, and I was thinking of getting him a small gentleman's knife / utility knife in the 2-3" length range. I don't have time to order one and have it come in by Friday. Is there a place in Manhattan that sells knives like opinels, swiss army knives, and small traditional slipjoints like a medium sodbuster?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for such a question, but I did a search and there was a previous thread in the General Knife Discussion on a similar subject, so I thought this should be the place to post.

To get a gentleman's knife, you must first obtain a cheap knife and then accost a gentleman -- "I say, good Sir, allow me to assist you with your burdensome cutlery..."

Three Little Indians cigar shop on 192 Grand Ave. sells knives too.

Paragon Sports on 18th & Broadway has a nice selection upstairs, but their prices are high.

thanks for the tips. Does Three Little indians sell more than just custom and high end knives? I looked at their site and I could only find models that were for more than $300 each.

It would be very difficult to find traditional production slippies almost anywhere in the city. I'm constantly on the lookout and have RARELY found anything. If you want a SAK, why not check out the Victorinox store itself at 136 Prince St. in SoHo. Take the downtown E or C to Spring St., walk north one block to Prince, then east about 3 or 4 blocks to West Broadway.
