Where can I get it online; what was it originally designed for (guns or what); is it really better than Tri-Flow?

Man, I hate smileys.

Deuce is right about Benchmade selling it now too. However, I got it directly off the Militec-1 website. They were so sure that I would think that Militec was the best lube I'd ever tried, that they sent me a tiny sample bottle. They were RIGHT!
On my semi-auto pistols and my automatic knives, it's the best stuff I've ever used. No foolin'.

Hello, I also got mine from militec-1.com -- and its great stuff!!! I love it and thin it might be the best lubricant available (especially depending on exactly what your using it for) Unfortunately after shipping it costs about $10. Which is a great price for it and it does last a long time, but you have 1 alternative...

Now that Benchmade has started using it/advertising it several, Benchmade dealers carry it in retail stores for the same price without the shipping. I actually work in a knife store and we have it. If you want to email me (because you live in CO) I could give you details of the knife shop that I work in. I love meeting people who actually enjoy knives. And if you bring in a sweet knife and show me maybe or something I will but you a cup of coffee or something!!! Let me know if you need help or want to track it down without the shipping cost. Good luck!!!
Thanks,

Since it was primarily designed for semi-auto firearms, it works better in a "hot" environment. If you heat up the surfaces to be lubricated with a hair dryer, it works great. A couple of treatments will really amaze you. It's real good stuff.
