I've got a small collection of the older "Old Hickory" line of knives by Ontario. But I want to try and find the large 14'' butcher blade. Not the new, thinner one, but one of the older blades. Even if it's used. Do you guys think you could help me out?

Can't help you with locating them, but, I can whet your appetite:

Good luck on your hunt!

If you can get an issue of The Backwoodsman. On the back of the last page they sell old knives that the publisher finds or trades for. They always have old butcher knives on there made of carbon steel and such.

I've seen lots of "Old Hickory"'s up for auction on Ebay. But not the 14'' butcher. Does Green River make one similar to it, but a bit better?

i was looking it up and i believe i got an old hickory linoleum knife at a garage sale a couple days ago. id say about a 4 inch hawkbill blade, hardwood handle. dnt knw how much it is really worth but it lookes kool. just have to give it a bit of tlc. from what i can tell, it was used for harvesting, cutting, farmwork kinda stuff. if im wrong please correct me
