If they don't want me to eat animals - why do they make them out of MEAT?

I reckon that Dillon could hook you up with a press and dies no worries.
Just don't let the Feline Furry Paw Kitty Union get wind of the conspiracy.
Evil lot they are!

Kronckew, my pit/boxer solved the problem of the harassing cat the other day all on his lonesome. He was going nucking futs at the back door, so I let him out. He lept about 8', bounded another 15' to land in the center of the kids big trampoline, and launched himself like a canine missile towards my fence. It ended up one of the neighborhood feral cats was on top of the fence, and only it's quick wits or God's grace saved it! The cat literally just had time to do a back flip off the sill board into the neighbors yard.

I do believe, however, that he would thoroughly enjoy a rig like you have displayed!

last summer, we'd just got back from the evening walk, blue & millie had gone indoors, but the front door was open (i have a small fenced in front garden).

kittynextdoor decided it was safe to come in the garden. big mistook! millie showed me why she was a class 'A' racer, & usually noted as 'fast out of the trap'. i didn't even have time to react before it was essentially all over.
(greyhounds can reach 45mph in two or three strides)

she was out the door, ran the 5 yds. to the cat & had it pinned before it could turn halfway around. she shook the heck out of it & rubbed it's face in the grass, i managed to get her to drop it after a few seconds. millie had a slight cut above her eyeball, cat was a bit worse off tho.

my neighbor (who is really a dog person) said it was unhurt, just well bruised.
it had grass stains on its face for days. it also lost a chunk of fur. she says if the dogs ever terminate the beast, she won't be upset as thats life....

that cat hasn't come into the garden since that i know of, but their other one likes to sit on my front porch & tap on the door glass with the two puppers going nuts t'other side. blue would dearly love cat burgers for dinner.

Young Bert, the not-right dog, had a troubled childhood, er puppy-hood.
He was tied to a tree in a backyard in a Chicago suburb for the first three years of his life, except for those times when the lady of the house let him off the chain to run away and get killed.

So, Bert has "issues."

He is the most genial dog you would ever want to meet. Synaptically disfunctional, but genial.

He will, and has, genially "dispatched" two feral farm cats with an intensity that that is so single-minded it borders on obsession. My commands and protestations were completely ignored. He ran them down and executed them. One he retrieved to me.

I like cats. I wish I could have a cat in the house with him. But he would, genially, kill them out of hand, because as he seems to put it, "cats NEED to be dead."

But he bears them no animosity.

Kind of a neat picture. Thanks.
