for stropping or deburring?....here is a block that is super at deburring http://www.japaneseknifesharpeningstore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=FeltBlock1 ....it works great....they also sell a felt pad for stropping....they both r excellent.....i know alot of people r gonna come out with super cheap felts....they really don't work like this felt.....there r MANY MANY types of felt.....not all the same unfortunately.....anyway don't know what u consider cheap but i think these r worth it.....ryan
Not trying to be a jerk but you don't need 3 different posts asking the same question. You will eventually get an answer it just might take a little bit because this isn't the most active part of the website.
I just got a piece from Hand American. He threw the piece in for free with my order. I would call Keith at HA and order some diamond spray to go with your felt and ask about the felt. If you don't want a lot he will probably throw in a piece for you to try with your diamond spray. I have had good luck with the diamond spray so far. It is raining today so I plan on trying the felt out and will give my thoughts later.
This and the other place mentioned above are the only places I have heard of selling the felt meant for sharpening.
