I got a large drop point from their last Christmas sale flyer. Nice knife. I use it as my regular kitchen slicing and dicing and carving knife, very carefully since a tap a few months ago nearly took off the tip of one finger.

I've bought up a bunch of the CRKT Mirages, the last couple weeks. Keep watching the site to see if they get in any more Apaches. Want one more of those, and the half price seems good, though not as good as $10 for a Mirage.
The Trailmasters at SM are Carbon V. Not sure if CS made any of SS or not. I got an Opinel a few months ago. Like the knife, but have to be really careful of the blade, for rust, discoleration. Tho, maybe the CS Twistmasters are black coated. Just can't remember. Either way, a good buy. Got to be one of the safest, strongest locks around for folders, tho no speed demon.

The twistmasters are Carbon V and are not black coated. Mine slices a lot of fruit so it darkened quickly. Since I was going to use it for food prep, I initially used a little olive oil on the pivot and for wiping the blade, but since then I just wash, rinse, and dry it immediately after I use it, and I haven't had any rust. I wash and dry all my cutting kitchen blades immediately after use anyway.
