Where can you get Japanese water stones?

Garrett Wade tools on the net, sorry I don't yet have the link thing down and the Japanese Woodworker also on the web. Incidentaly,Garrett Wade is a fantastic catalogue.

Most woodworking stores should have them, as they're really nice for sharpening chisels and plane blades. I've never used mine for my knives, as I've had great success with diamond and Arkansas stones, but I imagine they would work fine. They are fantastic on chisels and plane blades. You have to keep them wet, and they use a slurry developed on the stone from the water and the eroded stone to help with the cutting, and that just seems kinda messy for knives, or at least folding knives. And, they are well worth the money.
