Don't know the actual model, but it's the version with the carbon fiber handle and D2 blade...

Anyone know of a dealer has has one, or where I might look in general?

The Victorinox store in West Hartford, CT has one (860-521-1806). Their labelled prices are totally ridiculous, but I never attempted to negotiate with them.

try Ebay - there are some for sale there right now.

or...

try the "for sale" forum. I think anthony cheeseboro still has one for sale - at a better price than you will find elsewhere.

I don't know if any internet dealers will ever get one of these.

I'm pretty clueless as to what would be a good price. I've seen the basic 941 going for around $110-140. What should I expect to pay for the carbon fiber/D2 version?

Most online stores that I've seen that had/have them were charging an average of $175 for them. You may find them cheaper or more expensive depending where you look.

I got a great deal on mine from TAD at Blade West last year. IMHO the 941D2CF is the ultimate expression of the Benchmade 94x series. That D2 blade looooves to slice and really holds an edge. The official model # is 941D2CF.

If the wife hadn't been recently downsized, I'd be looking for a second one to keep in the safe, so that if anything ever happened to the one I already have, I wouldn't have to go without. For me, it's between the 941D2CF and a Socom Elite plain edge for my favorite EDC and the BM usually wins as I'm mostly in business dress and the Socom E is too big for discrete carry.

$160.00- $175.00 seems like a good price if you can even get one.

Knives & more-405-949-5400 and Outdoor America-405-789-0051, both in Oklahoma City had them in stock. Price was $177 at both places. Outdoor america has #011. I got #009 there

Billman - Ken at Knives and More (see phone number above) has 6 in stock. His pricing is the best I have seen or heard of.

Good luck.
