Where did all the black plain bladed PM2s and Manix XLs go?

it's been discussed that supply can't catch up with demand. The factory is also said to be running at full capacity and I think I read that a second or a longer first shift was being added.
 
You actually just missed a batch of black on black para2s a bladehq someone posted a thread about it earlier today

That and they are coming out with a lot of new knives this year so that also takes up a lot of man hours and space at the factories....looking forward to the Domino and Lava :)

Oh, and check the For Sale forums. Ive seen a few up for sale. Mostly regular manix 2s

I just picked up a Manix 2 xl from a local shop and I love it. Bigger than I expected. I was surprised to notice it is bigger than my ZT0561. Its just the regular model not the dlc one. I prefer that because I am making custom handles/scales for it and maybe some other things...round the spine, maybe bronze it.

Too add on to what he is saying.. The factory in Golden Colorado only makes 1 or 2 knives at a time and after they have made whatever they were going to that batch then they switch out the production floor to suit different knives (this is why you only see a batch come up every blue moon)

Wow. I clicked the option to be notified by e-mail during specific Spyderco knife replenishment. I would have left Salma Hayek in the bed for a chance to order one..
 
I had set up auto email for all the PM2s from Blade HQ months ago (around March), got multiple notifications a few days later, went to the site and they were all sold out. Haven't seen an email since. By the time the PM2 actually becomes available .223/5.56 ammo will be easy to get and I wont have money for the knife.

Tell me about it. I can't even find factory bulk 12ga for clay shooting. The only 5.56 M855 I have left, I'm saving for the zombies, can't afford to shoot the ARs for recreational use now
