Well, not all of them, but I keep seeing banner ads (e.g., Amazon or BFC classifieds) in places where there ought to be smilies. Is anyone else seeing the same? Here are a selection of smilies as a test:
Those ought to all be smilies. Are they for you? I am guessing that it's something going on at the server, but I sure haven't seen any comment about it from anyone else and it's been going on for days now. Maybe as much as a week.
Now I've already attempted to post this 3 times. The first time, I put in all the smiley symbols and my post was rejected because I put in more than 8 graphics. I cut out all but 8 and tried again and my post was rejected because I tried 2 posts in less than 60 seconds. So I waited more than 60 seconds and posted again with only 8 smileys and it was rejected again because I had too many graphics ("the maximum is 8"). So now I'll try to cut it down to 7 smileys and see if it will take that. I hope I've got some of the bad ones. The "smilies legend" page shows a couple of the bad ones as very tiny banners.
