I apologize about linking two knives to BladeHQ, solely to show the specs and color of the knife > I guess that I missed it when I read the rules months ago, but really, this is a crazy accusation, and I pay a lot of money to be a Platinum Member. Many members here can vouch for me, but that isn't necessary... no accusations should be made without hard evidence, which you will never, ever find because I am an individual and not a dealer... please unlock my thread so that I can delete the links in it and sell my knives.

I am not upgrading and paying more money for a higher status. I am not a dealer so I am not paying "dealer" cash/year!

Well then sell the knives without links to commercial websites post your own descriptions and specs and take your own photos, this is what most people do do. Then you should have no problems at all tootse! Posting links is a no no and putting up pics from other websites without permission or at least credit for photo could cause you problems between buyer and seller. Read the rules learn the etiquitte before stepping on your schlong.

Yeah, I almost always do that. I missed that part in the rules section, so please forgive my crime.

Yeah, I got that. I wasn't happy with the accusation of my being a "dealer," and a demand of my to pay more money to this website before I could sell my knives anymore...

I did read the rules, I just missed one of the parts. Give me a break; I'm sure that many people here make mistakes every day. I'm just a few inches short of being able to step on my schlong, but thanks for the compliment ;-)

Before the links were edited, they read "Link to actual sale". Not the best choice of wording, and I'm guessing the reason Mike thought you were the dealer in question. Simple misunderstanding and nothing to get tore up over. I'm sure it'll be resolved when Mike gets back online. Beyond that, I'd advise taking your own pics from now on or at least using a more appropriate link title.

That makes sense. "Link to actual sale" meant "the link to the knife that I purchased (as in, same design, colors, specs, etc.)."

Simple misunderstanding and nothing to get tore up over.

It was just irritating having someone accuse me of trying to abuse the system here when I contribute to this website myself.

I'd advise taking your own pics from now on or at least using a more appropriate link title.

I usually do, I haven't had time to take the knives out of my safe and take good pictures of them so the links were substitutes for now. Changing the title would have helped but it is still against the rules as I was told.
