Where do come the stars on some threads from?

Hi guys,

first I hope this is the correct for this question.

When I look through the forums, I see several threads like

- Carl´s Lounge
- What traditional knive are ya toting today?
- What makes a good traditional Barlow?

etc etc

There are a number of golden stars next to the thread title. Where do stars come from? Depends this on the number of clicks?

Might be a stupid question, but it would be nice to know somehow

Just go to the top of the thread and all the way to the right and click on "Rate Thread"
