Where do I get a Karambit?

Google seems sterile when it comes to shopping searches for Karambits, especially Tarani's. As of now I am leaning towards 5.11 Tarani Karambits over Emerson, but I am open to suggestions.
The only place I found them was New Graham....

Have you tried 1SKS? Ebay? Knifecenter? Knifeworks? GPKnives?
There are literally tons of places that sell knives, that may carry that blade style.

I never heard of Knifeworks before now! They have the one I like but out of stock. While I am here, do you all recommend a Karambit as a unique defensive knife?
I already use a Balisong every once and a while but Karambits look cool too.

They are certainly designed for the task...though check local laws. They are obviously a nearly single purpose blade. There's not a lot of "I carry this to open boxes and cut apples" cred with a karambit.

Also, as with anything, training in specific technique is important.

I recommend training, lots of training. The day you go and slash someone with a knife that will be the day your life changes forever. Not in a good way.

i use my karambit every day for opening boxes. works great! i got my 5.11 from new graham, great place.
