Where do i get knifemaking supplies at a resonable price in Europe (Im in Croatia). Like no minimum order prices and no 30-40€ shippings... Thanks!

I can't tell you where you could get those supplies, but I can tell you from what I have seen that postage rates even between neighboring EU countries are about 3 times higher than within one country.

To avoid the high shipping costs you would therefore have to find a supplier within Croatia. Unless Croatian suppliers are so much more expensive that you would still be better off by buying from abroad. You see where this is going...

What specific "supplies" did you have in mind? Abrasives, blade blanks, handle materials, machine tools,...?

Edit: Ahem, I see you mention steel in your second post, so disregard the above question.

Yes but the problem is, i cant find any here...

Search for "Ground Flat Stock" in Great Britain.

Does all sorts of steels and knife making consumables. In my experience shipping is heavily discounted or free over £100 (sterling)

Of course I am local, but I believe that Dave has many satisfied customers all over the world.

Eurotechni.com - ships from France, very good service, they stock 1045/1095. I think the shipping was extremely quick, and reasonably priced, around 30E, via courier. That is a bit more than shipping within a country, but I mean what do you expect...

Brisa.fi has many steels, and seems to have inexpensive shipping to Croatia via post. As does jatagan.eu - just by glancing at their websites.

I generally try to order more stuff in one order to reduce the overhead of the shipping costs.

edit: I forgot "vvknives" from sweden. Ordered some steel and other supplies (pretty hefty package). Shipping was around 15E to Czech Republic - quite reasonable. But it took longer to deliver.

"nordisches handwerk" in Germany has very good prices on steel in my experience, shipping is 9€ within the EU
They don't have 1084 but 80CrV2 among other carbon steels

I was not aware of this store. It looks pretty good, great selection, some items I have not seen elsewhere (like thick micarta blocks). Will try it out, thanks.

You didn't give the belt number, but Norton zirconia belts are excellent.

The BlueFire R821P is a great belt, as are other Norton belts.
