Where do I pay?

In this case, I want to pay for two knives via visa. One from the Christmas deals - so one is not on any official price list - I cant just order it off the shop website.

So where am I to deposit the money?


Is this a common confusion, or am I just being dull? :o

And another thing – in your experience, how long do you think it will take for the shipment to arrive in a distant country like South Africa?

You should e-mail Yangdu. She knows the answer to these questions best. There are several ways to pay. She'll let you know.

I have heard that some people will email part of the Visa card number in one email, and the rest of it a second email. Send to himimp@aol.com

you can pay via paypal, money order, check? and credit card.....
auntie yangdu will provide you with all the information necessary :thumbup:
give it some time she will respond back to you :)
 
Usually what I do is tell Yangdu the blade I want and then buy something off of the HI shopping site to equal the value. Just ask her what she wants you to buy off the site and you are good to go.

Im having credit card problems with the yahoo shopping thing - does anyone know how to solve this?

Otherwise, how do I use paypal?

PayPal is pretty easy. Just go to the PayPal Website and click on the 'Sign Up Now' button. From there, you'll be guided to create your account - name, rank, serial number, etc. Once you get the account set up, log in and click on the 'Send Money' tab. Aunt Yangdu's PayPal account is the same as her email address - himimp@aol.com . It's easy to use; too easy. :D
 
ive had problems with paypal in the past :rolleyes:
in a way i do and do not recommend it... just my little warning
you can do a search in the cantina and see what hapened to me :grumpy:
my preferred method of payment is now money order :D
 
Yes, Jai; but with as many khuks as you've purchassed lately, you're bound to hit every payment / delivery snafu known to man. :rolleyes: :p :D

I think paypal is the easiest solution, and if you buy a knife from s-o on BF, most ot the people take it too.

As for the delay, I don't know for South Africa, but it took less than a week for me to get it in Canada. (6 days including the weekend).

If you have a scanner, just scan your credit card at 400%. It makes a nice readable picture of the number, expiry and name on the card. A jpg isn't recognisable as a credit card number. I sent mine to Yangdu and got the knife soon after.
 
Turns out the credit card I was using was out of money for the month... :rolleyes:
I used somone elses and it worked fine :thumbup:

This thread should help others who might be having the same problem... :)
