Where do they come from?

I've just recently gotten into higher end knives. I've begun collecting CRks. As I look for different models, I find that most of them are sold out. Where do you guys buy these beautiful knives, other than second hand? For instance, when and where are/where those models sold with Honduran Rosewood? What about many of the nicer knives with Damascus blades? They just don't seen to be available for purchase. Are they limited production runs, only available from certain dealers?
 
There are authorized dealers on the evilbay that have different models in stock. There is a list of dealers on the CRK web page
 
A lot of the 'prettier' CRK are usually bought up quick. They are highly sought after. So, if you see one that you like, don't sleep on it. It may be gone the next day.

The way I recall the Honduran rosewood was an exclusive for Blade HQ. Someone correct me if I got the dealer wrong. Yes do look through the dewater list on CRK's website. You'll find a few of them have a good selection of rarer ones.
 
I have lots of "pretty" crk knives, and bought almost them all second hand. I have ordered a couple directly from CRK, and bought the rest here on the exchange. There are lots of fakes out there so be careful when shopping somewhere like the bay.
 
It takes a lot of looking around at various websites, the right timing and some luck. They also seem to come in spurts as Chris Reeve produces and ships batches of various knives. Recently, I began looking for a small Sebenza with basketweave damascus. Lo and behold, a bunch of dealers seemed to have various flavors with the basketweave blade where as I couldn't find a single one the last time I looked. Figured I'd better strike while the iron was hot since who knows when they'd be widely available again. In the end, I ended up buying one new from a guy on fleabay as he had good ratings and the best price. Best of luck with your search!

Glad you found what you were looking for. My next two will likely be a small Tanked and a small Glorious, to complete my Patriotic Collection. Then I want a Mnandi with Honduran Rosewood and either Raindrop or Ladder Damascus.
