I was looking into getting an RC-3 and just wondered where do you guys usually purchase your Rat knives? and whats the cheapest/best or most respectable place to do so?

Thanks!:)

If you go on the RAT site there is a listing of the dealers who carry their knives. All reputable people

Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop has the best prices lately that I have found when adding in shipping. But you never know how long things last... :) Have talked to them on the phone and they have always been pleasant and helpful. I have no affiliation to them in any way.

+1. I have a contact in the industry through whom I purchase most of my production pieces. Chestnut Ridge's prices are never more than a few dollars higher than my contact's prices. I've done business with Chestnut Ridge in the past and they've always been excellent to deal with. And I am also not affiliated with them in any way.

Highly recommended.

All of mine have come from knivesshipfree.com.

Fantastic service, super quick shipping, everything on the website is in stock, no figuring shipping costs and Derrick (okbohn) is a BF regular and all around great guy.

KSF. Derrick is awesome.

My RC-4 I got from Knife Supply, My tan RC-3 which should come today(I can't hardly wait) is from Knife Works, and I'm really excited about meeting Tom from Chesnut Ridge next weekend at the gun show in Harrisburg Pa. to get a BK11 and hopefully a nother RAT or two if I can.

I got my RC3 at a local gun show, but I grabbed my new Izula from knifecenter.com. Good price, and shipped out the same day. Since I'm one state over I ended up getting the Izula the next day after I placed the order.

Agreed, I order from KSF normally, but wouldn't hesitate to order from Chestnut Ridge or Two Wolves. All three frequent this forum and are available to answer questions.

Chestnut Ridge is a great shop. All questions I've had have been answered by quick call backs from Tom. That's good customer service in my book! My RC-5 was enroute to me within hours of it's arrival to Chestnut Ridge.

Edit to add... Two Wolves is equally great in my book. I've ordered thru them and they take care of you just like CR.

Haven't bought from KSF yet so can't comment.

Derrick @ KSF is a top notch guy and dealer (even though he keeps Wendy locked in the shipping room;))

Bill horn @ Cumberland is also great to deal with

EMGear.net is a great place to deal with too. And they are close to me so most stuff gets to me the next day.

How many have ordered from Knifesupply.com? there the cheapest ive seen. How is there services?

I tried to order from knifesupply.com, but their communication was poor at best. I tried to call and email on multiple occasions and the phone gave me a voice message is full and can't accept new calls reply, and none of my emails were returned. I asked to cancel my order and again no reply, and then they went ahead and shipped it 5 days after I requested to cancel.

The funny thing is that Derrick at KSF received, confirmed and shipped my order placed through him in between all his hassle. KUDOS to Knivesshipfree!!

Keep in mind I am not tring to slam anyone, and maybe there is a reason for the lack of response but this was a crappy experience and others should take care.

CRKS. I've dealt both online and in person (gun show). Two big :thumbup:
