A Vic Deluxe Tinker modded to clip point blades in my belt pouch and a Kershaw Crown liner lock in my pocket for heavy duty work. Of course I switch around to other knives occasionally; the wife says I change knives more often then most folks change underwear (maybe true).
Usually one in each front pocket and sometimes one on the hip in a sheath. I also have two in the back pockets plus one on each ankle. Do not forget the three neck knives and the knife I carry in scout position on my back. I also carry a one on each leg in a thigh mounted sheath under my pants. Another one set up for cross draw across the him. A big bowie knife in a custom shoulder holster. A credit card knife and a multitool in another sheath.
lol. The first sentence is the most common carry for me, but the rest that I just came up with gives me some interesting ideas if I do not yet have those carry options.
I carry primarily a fixed blade in a pocket sheath. Usually in a front pocket, but it isn't uncommon to add a boot knife to the mix as well. The only time I usually belt carry is when I'm on the motorcycle or need a really large blade...such as camping when the BK2 comes out.
I'm in federal buildings most days every week and have been for years. My pocket knives stay in my pocket and in my belt pouch. Sometimes in some buildings I have to remove them and put them in a tray before getting wanded, but after the wand the knives go back into my pocket and belt pouch then I enter or exit, as the case may be.
The only time I've left them behind was at a function with President Bush and Nouri Al-Maliki or when I've entered court rooms.
Right front pocket is my ZDP189 Delica and Gerber Belt Buckle W/Turkey Scrimshaw plus a RAT3 w/Custom Leather Sheath on my left hip.!!* {and a S&W Model 60 - SS Snub in case the other 3 don't work out.}
