Where do you carry your waved Emerson...

When your front right pocket has a holstered pistol in it? I'm curious to read about other options than just moving the clip to the other side and carrying in the left pocket, which I plan to do.

You can switch the clip if you have it tapped for left hand or just keep the clip for right hand and put it in your left pocket so when it deploys you already have it in reverse grip for stabbing right out of the gate.

I do this in the back left pocket, rather than the front. If in the front, I would fear for the jewels.

I just tried this and it works pretty well for me. My concern is that I would forget to remove it before getting in my car and it could potentially damage my leather seat.

Any recommendations for someone that does this work?

You can send it in to Emerson and they will do it for a fee. Not sure on cost. Their website has a service section that says it. I think is about $25.00. You should call and ask about turn around time too if you're sending it in.

Ruined the faux leather seat in my racing sim, LOL!

Once in awhile it pays to be ambidextrous. Carry my pistol lefthand strong side and emerson right side pocket.

My only solution without suggesting different gun carry would be to not use the wave when carrying your pistol. Thumbstud open...which is quite fast as well. Likley faster than opening with your left hand wave draw while carrying left and then switching hands for use.

Also maybe go cross draw or appendix carry on your pistol...or carry closer to 5 o clock. Adjust as needed to get what ya need comfort wise.

This is what I do; helps because I'm a left handed pistol shooter, and righty everything else.

Bet you're left eye dominant like me to? I can shoot with both hands but prefer left being left eye dominant. Except on bows...i like to shoot right handed. It is useful being able to use both hands about equally. Especially when playing pool in tight spaces.;)

I always carry my knives in my right pocket since I'm a lefty and it leaves my gun hand free .

If you send it to Emerson, it's $25.00. Have them put an additional clip on the left side too, and leave it there.

That way you can carry it in your right pocket without your gun, and in your left pocket when carrying the gun.

Works like a charm.

Otherwise, the left back pocket works great with a little practice, but yes, get it out before sitting on your leather seat. Your weight concentrated on the tip sticking out of your pocket onto the leather in one area is hard on them.

Actually I'm right eye dominant. I'm weird like that.
