Where do you feel the need to keep a knife?

I just finished reading a rather interesting article in the November 6th issue of Shotgun News written by Massad Ayoob, on Creative knife placement. The article got me wondering... Where do various people feel the need to keep? And knife and what type of or brand of knife do they keep there?If it's feasible I am going to try and keep knives purchased from CRKT in many of these spots, to show my support for them...

A Case folder in my pocket is a must. I also like to have knives in my toolboxes, glove boxes, first aid kit, desk drawer. Where ever I am there is also a knife.

That's a pretty funny question. I think I have a knife in almost every room of the house and have carried in my pockets, jacket, pants, socks, on my belt and around my neck.

If there is a pocket, I want to put a knife in it. Unless it is the seat pocket of my pants, that is not too comfortable.

If it's safe to carry a knife there, then I've probably carried one there. Preference is Spyderco. Many sizes to fit all tose places.

i like to carry two or three.one clipped to my front right pocket,one in my right hip pocket.and a tool logic card in my wallet,also left rear pocket. all this even though im left handed.

Sorry I guess I wasn't all that clear, you will have to forgive me my mind doesn't function to well in th A.M. The article spoke about the various places people store or keep knives just in case they need them. For example a small folder in the glove box of a car, a large fiwed blade in a desk draw at work, Ayoob even said people have been known to sleep with on attached to a leather watch band at night. The article showed a Spyderco clipped to a watch band. I was curious to see where other knife users keep there knives when not wearing them...

Right now I have: a 30" King Kobra under the bed, a 20" Sirupati and Busse Badger Attack on the bed, a BM 42 and Spyderco Endura on the coffee table, a 15" Ang Khola by the fireplace, and various other knives strategically scattered all around my room. I also sleep with a small sebenza clipped to my nightshirt front, on account of I get cranky if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't instantly find a knife to play with.

I'm not paranoid, really, I just like having knives nearby at all times, is that so wrong?

Let's see right now I have an Ontario survival bowie between bed and nightstand, a Kershaw Talon on nightstand(rotated out regularly with other flicking knives), a Commander,Endura and Point Guard on table by door, Meyerco Rescue One clipped on sunvisor in truck, CS mini-tac looped over steering column, BQ Pathfinder knockoff behind the seat and Buck Nighthawk tanto in truck bed storage box(something to pry with if neccessary)
