Where do you get Texaco type A quenching oil now?

Don't see where it is for sale anywhere, but it seems to be highly recommended. Any help appreciated!
 
You get it from somebody that bought it before it was discontinued.
I think you could have some made, but you might need to order 3 or 4 thousand gallons.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Ed Fowler doesn't have a tanker full of it out on his ranch. I'd check with him just in case. I got mine from Shane Justice a few years ago and I think I got the last that he had. Good luck!
 
Chevron bought Texaco but kept a lot of Texaco products. You should be able to contact a Chevron bulk plant and find Texaco A. It may have had a name change.

If what you are looking for is a quench oil to use on high hardenability steels (O1, L6, etc.) Houghto-quench "G" or Park's AAA are good quenchants. Texaco A is slower than those two oils.
