Hey Guys, ive started making knives again and need some bugging wheels. But i dont know a good place to find them. Amazon is really limited, i cant find a hard felt wheel with a 5/8 arbor on the whole site, and last time i got wheels from mcmaster they were so off center they rock the buffer around.

Any suggestions?

Your in LA, order or make a trip to trugrit in ontario ca. They have an entire wall of buffing wheels to choose from

interesting, I only bought mine from Mcmaster Carr and they were all just fine, never had any problems with them.
you know they take them back, no questions asked and will exchange them

You might want to look at the buffs from K&G Knife Supplies. They have many diameters and you can usually specify the arbor hole size. I buy them four at a time because I put two on each end of my buffer to get a thicker buffing surface. Actually I buy them eight at a time because I want to have a change of buffs in my supply closet. I buy the spiral wound buffs and cut the first circle of string to give the buff some spring and I buy the loose buffs for final polish with very fine ( 1300-1400 grit ) white compound. This is just what works for me and think the prices are comparably good. Larry
