The main writer, Wes Siler, seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is a decent writer also.
This article on "What big survival knives are for and how to use one" was the one that got me into his subforum.

He's also the person who convinced me to get my Esee 4 as my general-purpose outdoors knife.
One thing though, I can say after being a long time Gawker reader/commenter is that the crowd here on BF if much more mature and less quick to point out petty mistakes like grammar. Good job guys. :thumbup:
