I stumbled across this website yesterday, and I don't remember ever seeing a website that seems to be mostly slipjoints, but I'm sure there are others.

Here's the one I found.
http://www.bvbranchknives.com/

I'd like to see where you folks like to look, production (old or new), handmade (makers or dealers) sites?

TIA

For the most part it is shows for me. I like to check out Bill Ruple's web site (forget about that damascus whittler he has on there, I'll be picking it up at Blade :). and Tony Huffmans too. Bob Neal's site is known to have some nice ones as does Knifeart and AZ Custom knives. Les R. is carrying some by Nowland. For factory knives I check the catalogs and factory sites. Dave at Miaminice has been known to have some now and then.

I know what you mean about Ruple's website. I'm in severe lust over this one.

I have to keep a lookout for good deals. I picked up my Middleman and Case CV trapper from a hardware store and got my Camillus trapper from AG Russell. Things have been really tight so I can't really consider customs right now.

BVBranch has some nice stuff.
Has anyone done business with them?
Production stuff:
ndsproducts.com
Knifecenter.com
eknifeworks.com
Customs:
Custom Knife Directory
Arizona custom knives

Oh, there is a list of custom makers in the Slip Joint forum "down the block"

That Ruple makes me grunt like a cave man.
:D

That list on Knife Forums is awesome!

Three that I like for slipjoints are which have not been mentioned:
Plaza Cutlery
Nordic Knives
Gary Levine

Another couple that have slipjoints on occasion are:
Knife Art
True North

I also have to agree that these are good resources, and good people to deal with:
Arizona Custom Knives
Bob Neal Knives

When I first got interested in Slipjoints, Bob Neal taught me a lot, and helped me understand what makes for a good choice in a slipjoint.

Two other sites worth looking at are:
Hoffman Collection
Guild Collection

Budget and tastes have me buying mostly neww production right now. I seem to buy most of them from New Graham right now. Combination of a great price and they are great to talk to on the phone.

I realize this is an old topic, but it's the latest one that mentions what I was searching on...

Has anyone dealt with bvbranchknives.com recently? He has a couple of things I'm interested in, though the dates on his site are kinda old. I can't send him email (his inbox is over quota), and I left a message on his answering machine, but never got a call back.

Anyone still do business with Barry?

Thanks in advance,

-- Sam
