Where do you store your khukri?

Where do you store your khukri (khukris) - are they on display, or do you keep them in the leather case that comes with it?
 
i store them in a ikea armoire along with my slacks and socks.
 
I keep them in their sheaths in the safe. Some users are always out, but still sheathed, of course. Despite the very real and true concern that guns or knives left in holsters or sheaths can rust, because the leather or material attracts and holds moisture, I've never had a khuk rust in a sheath in my safe, nor seen anyonelses.

But, if I didn't have a safe, I'd go for the "Bucket O Khuks". Rusty had many of his like that. It's surprisingly useful and convenient.

I keep planning on putting them on display, even have some spots picked out for them, but I have yet to get around to doing it. Currently most of them are stacked up (in their scabbards) to form book ends, which they serve the purpose well enough.
 
Between my bed and my nightstand, along with my SRKW Crash Rat and my Ranger RD9.
 
I have about 20 to 25 on display but I change them around all the time, I have about 70 in plastic storage containers that are put away. I display a few other knives of the HI I have a another dozen or so on display kardas etc along with some cutom knives.

i still have to clear out some fish tanks along the wall to put up gorilla racks for storage..... but im lazy :D
 
I keep a BAS on a stand in my home office...at the ready. An AK and BGRS in my tool roll-a-way in the basement workshop, a small Sgt. Khadka in the kitchen with the other knives, and another BAS in the shed, well oiled of course.
 
Spread out over my apartment. The kothimora is wrapped in my headscarf on top of the living room bookshelf. In the winter, the scarf is on my head. The bilton is in the kitchen on top of the microwave. The baby chit is on my antique cabinet and my kagas katne is in my overnight bag.
 
Mine are scattered everywhere...

I made wraps for them but only 2 live in theres...A sgt Khadka that was gifted by my bro Steve and my PRECIOUSSSSS Neem Kerambit

My 15"AK is my goto blade for things that go bump in the nite
 
I've got all of mine on the floor in my spare bedroom, all in their sheaths.

Depends on what it is.

BGRS is next to the computer.

Ak workhorse is in the garage.

Beater (sheathless) WWII is in the shed.

my first, and a couple favorites are on the bookshelf in the family room.

2 or 3 small Siruptis are in the junk room, where I removed the accessories to thin the knife for hunting and hiking.
 
One in the trunk, with many more hanging here, there, and everywhere around my room. With the exception of the Monster Ram, they stay in their scabbards; not only is this conveniant, but it will also likely save my life if I'm present for the next earthquake.

I'm afraid to ask why the Monster Ram's kept out of its scabbard. Maybe hung over the front door with a trip-wire attached for unexpected middle-of-the-night visitors?
 
Wow Jaiofspam you have a terminal case of HIKV. I wont be able to afourd another khuk untill April, damn you tuition and rent.
