My attempt to polish the pivot area of the Endura 4 FRN was not as successful as I had hoped. Perhaps I needed to take off more material, and ZDP is a very tough metal to do so. When the pivot screw was tight enough to prevent much bladeplay, the blade seemed a bit sticky. Nothing drastic, but much less smooth than my other E4, one with G10 scales.
Since it the knife has already been reground, the warranty being voided is not an issue with me. I am not worried about my Spydies "breaking"!
But, in getting it back together, I found a tiny washer left on the counter, which I assumed went on the pivot screw.
Did I get it right? I'm sure that it was there for a good reason!
